This tutorial consists of a number of interlinked web pages, all of which are publicly readable. The intention is to introduce the Web user to the Trackless 2-server problem.
Since it is not clear what the initial level of expertise of the user will be, the tutorial addresses the user at several levels. For example, we expect that most readers would already know the definition of a metric space, but any user who wishes can click on that link and obtain a definition.
Much of the material in these pages comes from other sources. We do not as yet have a systematic set of citations. To authors who feel that they have been slighted by not being mentioned, we offer our apologies, and we intend to fix those omissions and errors with all deliberate speed. (To speed things up, you can send helpful suggestions by email to bein@cs.unlv.edu or to larmore@cs.unlv.edu)
The pages will be in a constant state of flux. Eventually, each page will contain a date showing when its current version was created, but they are currently changing too fast to make use of that technique.
As a general rule, be careful that you are looking at the last version by hitting Reload whenever there is a doubt.
Have fun!
