• Who should take 677 instead of 477?
  • All graduate students, including graduate special students.
  • All undergraduates who wish to use the credit toward a graduate degree (permission is required in advance for an undergradate to enroll in a graduate course).
• What are the differences between 677 and 477?
  • Grading will be at a higher standard in 677.
  • 677 students will be required to turn in an extra assignment. Each 677 student must work at least one challenge problem and turn it in by the last week of class.
